It is not all that often that I take a moment and publicly brag on my boys. However, tonight I will! After about two years of hard work and dedication they have reached and earned the rank of Green Belt in the karate form of Goju–Ryu. They have worked, practiced and took a few shots from daddy along the way and tonight all that work paid off. To make things even better, they both allowed me to come up and remove their Yellow Belt rank during their promotion. I consider this a great honor from both of them.
You know dad’s, in many things that we do in life, I think God has the same feeling. He looks at us when we do things that are holy and pleasing to Him, and I think that He is a proud Daddy. When we live our lives as the men we should be, the protector of our family both physically and spiritually, when we lead our family spiritually and when we submit to Him in honor of who He is, I think God is proud of us. But the biggest thing God is looking for is faith! You can read in Hebrews chapter 11 as it talks about the people of the Bible that won God’s approval. Wow, to win God’s approval is a big honor and a high achievement in life.

1 Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.
2 For our ancestors won God’s approval by it.
So let us, as husbands of homeschooling mom’s, strive to be faithful to God in everything and through that we will always be who we should be for our family and have one proud Daddy!
