WARNING – ADULT TOPICS AHEAD!
Parents, I do not speak as an authority on the LBGTQ community and agenda, but I will speak on the Word of God in respect to the LBGTQ community. Recently there has been a video that was “accidentally” set to live instead of private on the agenda of the LBGTQ community. This video completely lays bare the intent and desire of this group. The video is a song with lyrics that state the following
“You think we’re sinful. You fight against our rights.
You say we all lead lives your can’t respect. But you’re just frightened.
You think that we’ll corrupt your kids if our agenda goes unchecked. Funny, just this once, you’re correct.”
“We’ll convert your children. Happens bit by bit, quietly and subtlety and you will barely notice it.

The song goes on with more on what they plan to do with the children and how then the children will come back and convert you. Because of course, you love your children and will do anything for them, right?
So, parent, what is your agenda? What are you doing right now to protect your children from people that are calling your belief, your religion out? Parents what are you doing that will prepare your children for people that are telling you that they will convert your children from what you “hold to be true”?
You see, many parents will let their children watch what ever they want, listen to what they want, read what they want, as long as it does not bother the parent. With this mentality, we are sending our kids to the front line of a battle that they are not equipped to handle. We have thrown up our hands and said “Go ahead son/daughter, I believe in you.” But what have you done parent? “Oh, I have prayed for my kids.” That’s great, have you talked to them? Have you read scripture to them about the battle? Have you had open conversations with them about how to handle this? The largest answer to those questions is NO. WAKE UP PARENT – YOUR KIDS ARE AT STAKE! ARE THEY WORTH IT TO YOU?
There is a video by ReformedWiki that shows the reaction to the agenda that was “accidentally” released by the San Francisco Gay en’s Chorus. The video gives starting talking points for parents on how to talk, how to relate, and what is at stake here. I would HIGHLY encourage parents to view this and get an understanding on what is going on.
The agenda of the Christian Community is to present the Gospel to the world. The world will not like some of what is presented. That is where we get the people that like to pick and choose what they say about the Bible. God’s word is complete and calls out sin all through the Bible.
Homosexuality is referenced in the Old Testament and the New Testament. It is called out in the Old Testament in Genesis talking about Sodom and Gomorrah, then again in Leviticus when discussing the law. Those laws were directed to the Jews, I am a gentile. Gentile – a person who is not Jewish. I point this out for a reason. When Christ was born and died, he came to save us of our sin and to fulfill the law. He abolished the law! I am not, nor is a Jew, held to the law anymore. So don’t come at me with “You want to bash homosexuality but eat pork” argument. Not Jew and Saved by Grace, not law.
Now New Testament has Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11, and 1 Timothy 1:10. These verses call out the “exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones” as described by Moses in Genesis 2:24, and “whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching” as Timothy goes through. Yet there is the verses in 1 Corinthians that mention this issue and then if you read 6:11 it states :
And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

This shows that even there are those that profess the homosexual belief and other sinful natures as called out in the Bible, that there is a way out. God knows that there will be evil in the world. He knows that we, man, can not escape it on our own. He knows that we needed a Savior to rescue us from ourselves. Mankind has been give the ability to have freewill and think on our own and not forced by God to do his will or way. It is a choice on our own that we have to make and when Paul is writing this, he is acknowledging that there are these things that people are doing, but there is a way out as stated in verse 11. This is for the Jew and the Gentile.
I am not picking and choosing my way through the Bible. I believe that the Bible is 100% accurate and true. I believe all the “stories” in the Bible. I believe that it was inspired by God and written down by man. I believe in the virgin birth, sinless life of Jesus, the death, burial, and resurrection of that Jesus. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sin. Sin – Anything that we think, say, or do, that goes against God’s Word. I believe that as it is stated in Romans 3:23 that “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Yet, thanks be to Ephesians 2:8 that says “For you are saved by graces through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift ”. That faith is believing in those things listed above. With that my sins have been forgiven and so can the sins of anyone be forgiven. And yes, I fail. Daily there are things that I need to ask God to forgive me of because I am not perfect.
With all of this being said, I am not here bashing, or belittling the homosexual movement. What I am doing is presenting God’s Word, the Bible, in reference to that movement. People will say that the Christians are called to love everyone. And yes, we are called to do that. We are called to turn the other cheek, and love the sinner. What we are not called to do is tolerate what is called sin in the Bible. We are not called to love the sin that a sinner does. We are not called to know what is right, according to the Bible, and ignore it and do what we want. Yet, so many Christians do not want to cause a scene or offend anyone and they keep quiet. Not me.
Today I tell you that homosexuality is a sin as called out in the Bible. As a pastor I can not accept the lifestyle of a homosexual. Do I love the person? Yes I do. I know people who are homosexuals and I do care about them. However, I do not approve of their lifestyle, just as many of them do no approve of my stance.
So Parent, what are you doing? What are you going to do? Sit by and watch the world go by? Let others have at your children? Pray that God will return before it gets “to bad”? Talk to your kids and educate and prepare them? As for me, I will prepare my kids for spiritual battle. Not a physical confrontation to force the issue. But teach them and train them in God’s Word. To teach and tell them about the “Armor of God” that needs to be put on daily as stated in Ephesians. I pray that after this you too will do something other than release your kids to someone else’s control. Because there are those out there that openly and frankly are stating that they are coming for your children.
